Education and Experience- Associate’s degree equivalent to four (4) years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree equivalent to eight (8) years of experience
The Program Coordinator will lead the Tribal Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (T‑MIECHV) program, funded through the Administration for Children and Families (ACF). This program is designed to support the health, well‑being, and development of families with young children (prenatal to age five), with a focus on families experiencing economic hardship and other risk factors.
Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day operations and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, culturally responsive, and evidence‑based home visiting services.
- Plan and develop the program, supervise staff, lead the team, create and monitor the budget, and ensure compliance with all grant and tribal requirements.
- Work closely with families, program staff, community partners, and tribal leadership to strengthen family stability and resilience.
- Support positive child development outcomes and reduce the risk of children entering foster care or out‑of‑home placements.
- Connect families to community resources and strengthen their long‑term support networks.
The ideal candidate will bring professional experience in early childhood development and family services, especially within underserved or tribal communities, and demonstrate a passion for working with low‑income families of children ages 0–5. They will be skilled at building partnerships, leading staff, and adapting evidence‑based models to meet the unique needs of the tribal community.

Knowledge of current issues in the field of social welfare; social services programs including domestic and family violence, sexual assault, stalking and other public welfare programs on the Federal, State, and local level.
Knowledge of the Indian community, its organization, and needs.
Knowledge of community support systems, health care and human service resources.

Job‑SpecificSkills and Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED and 8 years specialized grant management, compliance or case management experience
- Or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology or closely related field
- One‑year specialized experience in grants management, compliance or case management
- Valid state‑issued driver’s license and/or ability to obtain a California or Oregon driver’s license. Must be insurable on the Nation’s insurance policy.
- Use hands and arms to operate office or field equipment.
- Sit more than half the workday.
- Stand and/or walk less than half the workday.
- Bend, stretch, twist, crouch and/or reach.
- View electronic monitors for prolonged periods of time.
