Lead Pilates Instructor – Los Olivos
Riser Fitness, one of the largest multi‑unit developers of the Club Pilates franchise system with over 70 locations, is hiring a Lead Pilates Instructor for its Los Olivos studio.
Club Pilates is an internationally recognized brand that offers affordable and accessible Pilates to the community, with more than 1,000 locations worldwide.
As a Lead Instructor you will teach all levels of clients, create engaging, safe, and challenging class plans, and coach and mentor fellow instructors through your strong leadership skills.
Compensation$40 – $65 per class depending on experience; both full‑time and part‑time positions available. Base pay for Lead hours and group classes with incentives based on client attendance.
Qualifications- 450+ hour comprehensive Pilates education
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Ability to use a contemporary approach to classical exercises
- Excellent customer service skills and a pleasant demeanor
- Experience teaching 6+ participants in an apparatus‑based group class
- Demonstrated Reformer instruction abilities
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
- Punctual and reliable
- Skillfully use a variety of equipment (hand weights, chair, reformer, springboard, TRX, magic circle, etc.) to create safe, creative group experiences.
- Apply anatomical knowledge to provide safe modifications and progressions for clients with injuries or limitations.
- Stay current with Club Pilates education standards and implement them consistently.
- Develop and deliver class plans that meet Club Pilates standards and keep clients challenged.
- Teach Intro, group apparatus, private and semi‑private training sessions as scheduled.
- Maintain availability for a minimum of 15 hours per week.
- Participate in monthly Lead Instructor conference calls and train staff on covered topics.
- Inspect equipment for wear and recommend updates to management.
- Track and review Instructor proficiency and performance levels.
- Provide mentorship and support to Pier instructors to uphold Club Pilates standards and foster a collaborative team culture.
