As a Shuttle Driver for SY Private Charters, you will transport passengers in company vehicles — including passenger vans, luxury SUVs, and executive‑class rentals — while upholding California driving laws, DOT regulations, and the highest standards of customer service. You’ll represent SY Private Charters as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring their experience is safe, smooth, and memorable.

• Safely operate passenger vans, luxury SUVs, and other assigned vehicles in compliance with California Vehicle Code and company safety standards.
• Conduct thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections (brakes, lights, tires, fluids, etc.) and promptly report any mechanical or safety issues.
• Transport passengers between designated locations (hotels, airports, events) while adhering to all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, trip reports, and fuel records as required by company policy and state law.
• Ensure interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness before each trip, and report to detail team.
• Provide a premium guest experience — greet clients courteously, assist with luggage, open doors, and deliver professional VIP service at all times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and the operations team regarding scheduling, route adjustments, and guest updates.
• Uphold SY Private Charters' safety and confidentiality policies, especially with VIP or corporate clients.
• Follow all Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) passenger transport regulations.

• Valid California Driver’s License (Class C minimum).
• Clean driving record (no DUI, reckless, or major violations in past 3 years).
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance eligibility.
• Previous professional driving experience preferred — charter, shuttle, limo, or hospitality transport.
• Strong customer service skills; ability to interact professionally with high‑profile or VIP guests.
• Knowledge of local routes, airports, wineries, and Central Coast attractions is a plus.
• Ability to lift and assist with luggage up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass pre‑employment drug screening
