Job Summary
We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) for full‑time helicopter maintenance at Reach Air Medical Services in McClellan, CA. The role supports H125, H130, H135, EC145 airframes, ensuring safety and timely service delivery.
Compensation- Starting Salary: $73,554–$107,281 annually (including 15% geographic modifier)
- IA Stipend: $2,080
- Sign‑On Bonus: $12,500
- Perform mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular status updates to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks, keep the equipment tracking log up to date and place replacement requests as necessary.
- Document service paperwork and FAA information as required, adhering to company policies and information security standards.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Coordinate communication efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
- Work professionally with allied health, public safety personnel and fellow AMTs and operations staff.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years turbine‑powered helicopter experience.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid State‑issued Driver’s license.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
- EMS systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and 24/7 on‑call rotations.
- Acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
- Lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
- AS350, EC130, EC135, EC145 maintenance experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
- Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145. li>Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
