JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

• Must be 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Provide proof of a licensed, insured vehicle for delivery.
• Navigate maps and addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
• Deliver product to customers by car and to the door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Many team members begin as delivery drivers and move into management or franchise ownership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Orientation and training provided on the job.

Communication Skills

Write correct instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions / Skills

• Perform basic math accurately and quickly.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Coordinate motor tasks, eyes to hands, for accurate, rapid movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

WORK CONDITIONS

• Varying adverse weather conditions.
• In‑store temperatures ranging 36–90°F; sudden changes in temperature.
• Fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500 °F), sharp edges, moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

• Talk and hear on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Differentiate hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, handle people, analyze data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Stand, walk, and operate primarily from a standing position.
• Lift up to 50 lb; other items vary from 3 lb to 30 lb.
• Carry, push, and pull loads, including trays on dollies.
• Climb stairs or ladders infrequently.
• Stooping, bending, crouching/squatting as necessary.
• Reach up, down, forward, and reach above 72" occasionally.
• Use hands continuously for eye‑hand coordination tasks.

Machines / Tools / Equipment

Use of pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, pizza peel, rolling cutter.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS (Delivery)

• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking, climbing stairs (5+ flights).
• Deliver multiple orders per shift.
• Travel between store, vehicle, and customers in varying weather conditions.
• Drive within a designated delivery area; make several deliveries per shift.
