Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing lighting products, as well as assisting with inventory management and shipping / receiving tasks.

Receive, inspect, and record incoming products.

• Organize and label products according to company standards.
• Assist in managing stock levels and ensuring the accuracy of inventory counts.

Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging.

• Verify order details, including product quantities and specifications.
• Ensure timely and safe loading and unloading of products.

Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including packing slips and labels.
• Inspect products for damage during receiving and report any discrepancies.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines for handling lighting products and operating warehouse equipment.
• Conduct routine checks on equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving systems.

Work closely with other warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.

• Communicate effectively with customer service and other departments to resolve any inventory or order issues.

Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred, especially in a lighting or related industry.

• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training can be provided).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
