About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving, successful, and dynamic team in the heart of Cornwall. Based at Duchy Stoke Climsland, we are seeking an experienced, inspiring, and confident individual to become part of our Animal Management teaching team, contributing to the continued development of our high standards and strong success rates.

This role involves delivering both practical and theoretical Animal Management lessons, as well as tutoring and assessing learners across a range of subjects from Level 1 to Level
3. Practical teaching will take place in our state-of-the-art animal unit and includes working with a diverse range of species, such as exotic animals, small and large mammals, fish, and birds.

Skills & Experience

Applicants must hold a nationally recognised Level 3 teaching qualification (such as Cert Ed, PGCE, AET, CET, DET, or equivalent), along with relevant academic, professional, or vocational qualifications at Level 6 or above in Animal Management or a closely related subject. Candidates should also have appropriate vocational experience within the animal industry. Strong practical skills and hands‑on experience working with a wide range of animal species would be highly advantageous.
