FDEM (Food & Drink Maintenance Engineer) Apprenticeship

FDEM Apprenticeship

We are looking for 4 apprentices at our Callington site to start in September 2026.

You’ll be guided through your qualification by Truro & Penwith College
, while putting your new skills into practice on site. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll also have a dedicated workplace mentor to help you every step of the way.

At the end of the programme, you’ll achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Food and Drink Maintenance Engineering
. This is a cutting-edge qualification created by industry experts and Samworth Brothers are proud to be part of the trailblazing group that designed this standard, ensuring it’s built for the industry, by the industry.

Who We're Looking For
  • Be able to demonstrate an interest in engineering either through experience or a hobby/school interest
  • The ability to work as a team member and possess good interpersonal, communication and literacy skills
  • A minimum of 4 GCSE’s, or equivalent, at Grade A
    * to C (5-9) including English, Maths
  • Have the right to work in the UKMeet the funding requirements for apprenticeships

If selected, you will need to be available 23rd & 28th April for a Bakery Tour and Recruitment Day.
