We are currently recruiting for a Stores & Logistics Operative to join a busy manufacturing site on a temporary rolling contract basis.

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting goods inwards, dispatch, stock control, and on-site material movement. You will play a key part in ensuring materials and HVAC units are received, stored, moved, and dispatched efficiently to keep production running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Booking incoming materials, components, and HVAC units into SAP accurately

Maintaining correct stock locations and updating stock movements

Reporting discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods

Supporting stock checks and inventory accuracy

Loading and unloading deliveries using FLT equipment

Moving HVAC units (up to 500kg) safely using lifting aids and production trollies

Transferring parts, assemblies, and tooling to production areas

Picking and issuing materials for production orders

Packing HVAC units, sub-assemblies, and spare kits to specification

Preparing dispatch paperwork, labels, and transport documentation

Driving a company flatbed van for UK deliveries and collections when required

Completing vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with safety standards

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Working closely with production and other departments to support workflow

What We're Looking For:

Experience using SAP (goods receipt and stock movements)

Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance)

Experience loading/unloading lorries in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Full UK driving licence

Comfortable handling large items using appropriate lifting equipment

Reliable, organised, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
