Job Description
We are actively looking for a dedicated and skilled Welder to join our client in Calne who specialises in sheet metal fabricating and CNC machining. Our client is looking for a Welder to join them on a long‑term basis, with the view to a permanent contract.
Key Duties- Perform welding tasks (both TIG and MIG) with confidence and precision.
- Operate workshop machinery, including press brakes, guillotines, rolls, and bandsaws.
- Ensure all work is completed on time, to the required standard, and in line with client specifications.
- Experience with sheet metal work.
- Strong understanding of the day‑to‑day operations of an engineering/fabrication workshop.
- Proficient in TIG and MIG welding of stainless steel and other metals.
- Knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations and practices.
- Demonstrated professionalism, attention to detail, teamwork, punctuality, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
£15.00 – £18.00 per hour, dependent on experience.
ShiftsMonday to Thursday – 07:00 to 17:30.
