This role involves administrative support in an Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) office. The organization emphasizes internal promotions and a diverse set of responsibilities across facilities and divisions.
- Greets and communicates with ISAP program participants, community visitors, agency personnel and general visitors.
- Ensures program participants are properly checked in for office visits.
- Answers the phones and directs calls appropriately.
- Maintains program participant case records on the computer system by performing data entry.
- Maintains files and related documentation.
- Assists the Program Manager and Case Specialists with case coordination, communication with the contracting agency and routine clerical tasks.
- Coordinates transportation services for program participants.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED. - At least two (2) years of work experience in a similar position; experience with multi-cultural contacts preferred.
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination.
- United States citizenship required. Must have lived in the United States in the last three of the last five years (military and study abroad accepted).
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Good computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external contacts; good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal tactfully with the public; sound judgment and even temperament; ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations.
- Ability to work with multi-cultural contacts with sensitivity and to maintain good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with computers and the software typically used by the department.
- Working conditions:
Typical office environment; some local travel may be required; use of standard office equipment; data entry capabilities.
