• Source and manage vendors and contractors.
• Maintain accurate records of construction and maintenance activities.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and repair costs.
• Collaborate with cultivation and operations teams to align facility needs with production requirements.
• Supervise the ongoing maintenance of greenhouse infrastructure, including electrical, HVAC, water, and structural systems.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes and environmental regulations.
• Lead project budgeting, permitting, scheduling, and contractor management.
• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of greenhouse construction projects, from planning to completion. Use required PPE per OSHA regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
• Experience working with local permitting and regulatory bodies.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, greenhouse infrastructure, and irrigation.
• Proven project management and construction oversight skills.

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Position requires a 40-hour minimum work week.
• Must write and communicate effectively with the team.

The Director of Greenhouse Construction and Maintenance is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and ongoing maintenance of all greenhouse construction projects across Glass House Farms. This role requires deep knowledge of controlled environment agriculture (CEA), HVAC systems, irrigation, structural engineering, and facility compliance. The ideal candidate will lead cross‑functional teams and contractors to ensure greenhouse facilities are built and maintained to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
