Overview
We are partnering with a U.S.

-based manufacturer that designs and builds ruggedized power supplies for defense, aerospace, and energy applications. The team is seeking an experienced Power Supply Design Engineer who enjoys both new product development and sustaining engineering, and who thrives in a hands-on, production-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop Mil-Spec power supplies to meet defined performance, reliability, and test criteria.
Support and improve legacy products, including interpretation and refinement of historical documentation.
Serve as a technical resource for complex engineering challenges throughout the product lifecycle.
Create clear, thorough technical documentation and review/edit reports prepared by colleagues.
Perform hands-on lab work, including prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting using common bench tools (e.g., soldering equipment, oscilloscopes).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers via meetings and teleconferences.
Engage in all phases of the product lifecycle—from concept and design through production, support, and end-of-life.
Work in and around production areas, including moving in tight spaces, climbing stairs, and occasionally lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs without impacting production flow. Desired Attributes

U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (due to program and regulatory requirements).
Proven experience in power electronics / power supply design, preferably in Mil-Spec or similarly ruggedized environments.
Comfort working across concept, design, verification, and production phases.
