Our Team

Interconnect Systems (ISI), a Molex company, manufactures high performance electronic assemblies in our Camarillo, CA factory. We currently have an opening for a Sr. Test Technician. Your skills will directly impact the current and future growth of the company. We are a specialized manufacturing operation using industry accepted process controls in manufacturing and quality to help us maintain and continually improve our excellence in providing electronics solutions to the industry.

What

You Will Do
  • Perform hands‑on technical execution and provide direct support for test operations, ensuring efficient and effective production processes.
  • Act as the liaison between engineers and the manufacturing test floor to ensure smooth communication and resolution of technical issues.
  • Analyze and resolve process‑related electrical failures quickly to minimize downtime and optimize manufacturing yield.
  • Assist in managing component obsolescence by identifying and sourcing viable alternatives to maintain production continuity.
  • Troubleshoot process‑related electrical failures.
  • Troubleshoot customer returned products.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify and resolve technical issues during development and production
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment and diagnostic tools
  • Analyze test data and provide actionable feedback to design and production teams
  • Support prototype builds and product validation efforts
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Must be able to work in an ITAR compliant facility.

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relative work experience 5+ years.
  • Interpret schematics.
  • Must be able to work in an ITAR facility.
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Gitlab
  • Basic Python scripting.
  • Understands how to use test hardware (Oscilloscope, DMMs, Function Generators, etc.).

For this role, we anticipate paying $70,000 - $90,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
