POSITION PROFILE:
The Program Manager will lead and oversee critical technology development and deployment projects. This role requires a dynamic individual with exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills to ensure successful execution of programs from inception to completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES:- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define program objectives, develop detailed project plans, and manage execution to meet technical and business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project deliverables.
- Manage program risks and opportunities by proactively identifying challenges and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business development teams to meet customer and company objectives.
- Prepare and deliver regular program updates, reports, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 5+ years of technical experience in optics related fields (lasers, detectors, optics, or systems).
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in aerospace, defense, or high-technology industries.
- Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes, particularly in photonics or sensor technologies, is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in program management tools and methodologies (e.g., Microsoft Project, Agile, or PMP certification).
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Requires U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status required.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency and productivity.
- Experience working in an ITAR environment.
Little travel is expected for this position, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required SALARY RANGE: $120,000-$200,000 annual salary, plus participation in individual performance bonus plan.
