Front Office Supervisor – supervisor level front desk position providing high quality guest experience and managing front office operations.
Responsibilities- Assist guests in check-in and check-out procedures, and throughout their stay.
- Work proficiently on the hotel’s electronic reservation system and other computer programs to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Handle all financial matters – including credit card and cash transactions – securely, accurately, and with integrity.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and go out of your way to maximize the guest experience.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to foster a hospitable, approachable, and customer‑focused environment.
- Ensure accurate handling of guest reservations, check‑in/check‑out, and payment, including credit card and cash procedures.
- Maintain proficient administration of the hotel's electronic reservation system.
- Maintain compliance with hotel safety programs and procedures, including emergency and security systems.
- Complete all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) in a timely manner.
- 2+ years’ experience working in a front‑desk/receptionist role.
- Love working with people and will go above and beyond for each guest’s needs.
- Work well with others and enjoy being part of a team.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solver and solution‑finder who ensures the best experience for guests.
This position is physically demanding. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
Travel RequirementsLittle to no travel outside the property and surrounding area.
Pay Scale$15.81 – $30.94 per hour (rate varies by state/market and experience).
