Summary
This position is responsible for supporting the manager in overseeing all inventory transactions within the processing department. This includes ERP system transactions, physical transactions, and the transportation of inventory. They must complete deliveries for work orders for pre-trimming, third-party processors, and hand trimming.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in the training of track and trace techs and inventory supervisors for Metrc®, ERP, and physical inventory management.
- Assure compliance of processes with DCC and Glass House requirements.
- Confirm inventory from the bucking department prior to receiving them in the WIP inventory area.
- Make sure lab samples are prepared and sent to laboratories on time.
- Supervise the transportation of WIP inventory from pack house to pack house.
- Make sure that the proper steps are taken in phase changes and location movements of WIP inventory.
- Understand climate specifications for cannabis inventory. Communicate with Inventory Manager if a change is needed.
- Approve schedules for Inventory supervisors, leads in the inventory department, track and trace techs, and driver(s).
- Cover for Supervisors, if needed.
- Oversee that Supervisors communicate from one shift to another.
- Manage accuracy of data and report any large discrepancies to the Inventory Manager.
- Oversee that supervisors communicate lower quality product (C/D Grade) to sales.
- Create a safe work environment to avoid injuries to employees. Report on any issues to Inventory Manager.
- Report any issues with employees to Inventory Manager and Human Resources.
- Run weekly and monthly cycle counts and supervise the adjustment log for any adjustment made over 3% in weight differences.
- Supervise the delivery of work orders created by the planning department.
- Rotate with other managers for weekend coverage and communicate needs when another manager covers.
- All managers must drive the department for continuous improvement.
- Must cover two shifts on a rotation and as scheduled to fully support staff.

Education And/or Experience- Prior management experience, mandatory.
- Prior cannabis experience, preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs required.
- HS graduate or college and/or university education preferred.
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Bilingual preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude
- Authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires a 40-hour minimum work week
- Must be able to write and communicate effectively with the entire team.
