Vice President of Supplier Management

DEX has been a leading global provider of supply chain solutions since 1980. DEX manufactures, distributes, and repairs electronic parts and assemblies for its customers. DEX has deep capabilities in servicing clients during manufacturing shortages, when components are unavailable in the global marketplace, and even when small quantities are available. While we specialize in hard-to-find parts, we source, manufacture, and repair an extensive range of parts across multiple verticals.

The VP of Supplier Management owns the end-to-end third-party vendor lifecycle, supplier governance, and strategic sourcing operations. You will lead a high-performing team and partner closely with Legal, Finance, and Technology executives to align supplier capability with enterprise goals.

This is a full-time position. This is an onsite position from our Camarillo, CA office.

• Maintains relationship with vendors or suppliers and negotiates contracts for major purchases
• Director reviews vendor quality and maintains price controls and inventory flows to identify and implement efficient purchasing programs
• Supervisory Responsibility – Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Management Responsibility – Managing all activities for the department in order to meet or exceed company goals. Recruit and train new employees.
• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, CPIM) are strongly preferred.
• Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, vendor/supplier management, procurement, or third‑party risk, with at least 5 years in an executive or senior leadership capacity.
• Financial Acumen: Proven track record managing large multi‑million or billion‑dollar supplier spends and delivering year‑over‑year cost savings.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep familiarity with ERP software, procurement platforms, and data analytics/reporting tools.
