Position Summary:

The takeout position delights our guests through a warm greeting upon entry and over the phone, sharing and guiding our guests through menu orders either in-person or over the phone.

The position takes and rings in orders, packages food and beverages for guest takeout orders, processes payments, and on special events, delivers food to various locations and provide catered services.

Takeout Responsibilities:

• Greet guest with a warm and friendly welcome.
• Answer telephone calls within three rings and responds to inquiries or transfer calls.
• Anticipate and fulfill guests’ needs.
• Ensure food and service is to Wood Ranch standards.
• Communicate with guests to make a positive lasting impression.
• Ensure and promote safety and cleanliness.
• Serve alcohol to guest following safe alcohol service guidelines with local, state, and federal laws.
• Pack impressive looking food. Verify quality, temperatures, portions, and any modifications.
• Ensure all items are packed including dressings, condiments, and BBQ sauces.
• Interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Perform light duties, including stocking stations and side work assignment(s).
• Communicate openly with management regarding any work-related concerns.
• Process payments, including making change for cash payments.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Must obtain a valid unexpired RBS Certification.

• Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

• Ability to maintain personal hygiene.

Physical Requirements:

• Physically able to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. at times.
• Must be able to work late nights and unpredictable hours.
• Physically able to continuously bend, reach, and twist.
