The Merchandising Space Planner plays a key role in executing the company’s merchandising strategy. This role collaborates closely with Merchant teams, Store Operations, Safety, Loss Prevention, Inventory, and Marketing to deliver effective planograms and in-store presentations that drive strong results.

• Create, execute and update planograms physically and in software across all categories supporting all stores in line with the overall space merchandising strategy.
• Develop planogram guides and instructions in the space planning software to clearly communicate how to build the planogram in each store.
• Analyze sales data and product information pre- and post-set to develop, recommend, and execute merchandising strategies.
• Work closely with Merchant teams to understand product roadmaps and collaborate on overall space merchandising strategy.
• Create merchandising strategies and guides for stores that are relevant to their specific layouts, markets, and needs.
• Establish relationships with Store Operations teams to be a resource for merchandising solutions.
• Partner with fixture design team on solutions to better utilize space within the store.
• Maintain product data integrity for all items as it relates to the planogram process.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience:
  
  3–4 years of space planning and merchandising within the retail industry (preferred).

• Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to absorb technical information and translate it into actionable results.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with corporate and retail field associates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Refined critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Problem‑solving and quick decision‑making skills.
• Excellent time management, planning, multitasking, and follow‑up skills.
• Results‑oriented and capable of executing strategic and operational plans.

• Stand, walk, sit for extended periods.
• Speak and listen to others in person and via phone/video conferencing.
• Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.
