Position Overview

The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team, including housekeeping and visual presentation standards.

Essential Functions

• Greeting Customers:
  Greet customers immediately upon entering the store with a smile and a sincere greeting.
• First Impressions:
  Create a positive first impression through energetic attitude and adherence to dress code.
• Store Standards:
  Maintain a clean, organized environment by adhering to store standards and cleanliness.
• Product Information:
  Provide customers with current, relevant product information.
• Fitting Room Service:
  Provide quality service in the fitting rooms, follow up with customers, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and assist with add-on sales where appropriate.
• Cash Wrap Efficiency:
  Provide efficient service at the cash wrap, offer Gift Cards, maintain cash wrap cleanliness, and capture customer information in the database.
• Customer Appreciation:
  Thank customers for shopping at GUESS as they exit the store.

• Task Completion:
  Satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management.
• Punctuality:
  Be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule.
• Teamwork:
  Be flexible and work well with peers and management to accomplish duties.
• Policy Adherence:
  Follow GUESS policies and procedures 100%.
• Housekeeping:
  Perform housekeeping duties as required.

• Sales Goals:
  Meet or exceed the Sales per Hour (SPH) target as assigned by management.

• Meetings and Functions:
  Participate in and attend all store meetings and related functions.
• Positive Attitude:
  Represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company.
• Inventory Participation:
  Participate in all inventories.
• Additional Duties:
  Assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Ability to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.
