What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the security-related needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors while on patrol.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities using Allied Universal protocols.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, exits, and any restricted areas as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as directed during critical situations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
