As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This driving post allows you to engage with the community, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
- Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with visitors, staff, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.
- Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal protocols.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
