We are seeking a detail-oriented, hardworking, and safety-conscious individual to support our onsite operations as a Utility Worker. The role of our Utility Workers is of great responsibility as they are tasked with ensuring that our Vehicle Fleet complies with Federal and State OSHA and CDC standards. Additionally, our Utility Workers ensure that our vehicle fleet always looks its best. You represent our company to the community, and your attention to detail and care for the fleet is vital.
Responsibilities- Cleaning, sanitizing, and washing the interior and exterior of each vehicle.
- Reporting end-of-day (EOD) mileage for all vehicles.
- Performing a detailed number of vehicles per month as agreed.
- Checking and maintaining all system fluid levels (oil, DEF, coolant, washer fluid).
- Closing and locking the office and shop at end of day.
- Ensuring vehicle emergency equipment (fire extinguisher, body‑fluid kit, first aid kit) is fully stocked and functional.
- Keeping detailed records of services performed.
- Inspecting and documenting fleet damage and communicating to the manager/supervisor.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and teamwork area.
- Assisting others as requested.
- Moving vehicles safely between job and work area.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Pay: $19.01 per hour.
- No criminal convictions or DWI, DUI, assault, or possession of controlled substances within the last five years. Must be able to complete and pass pre-employment performance evaluation, DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, background investigation and pre-employment assessments and tests.
- Two (2) years of experience related to the job tasks or equivalent experience.
- Current and valid Driver’s License.
- General knowledge of fuels and lubricants, vehicle and fuel safety procedures, and cleaning materials.
- Ability to lift or move up to fifty pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, kneel or crawl.
- Attention to detail and safety‑conscious approach.
High school diploma or GED
