Overview
Join Analog Devices (ADI) as an Associate Facilities Engineer and help maintain and improve the plant’s physical infrastructure and operations.
Responsibilities- Recommend and implement maintenance schedules, develop system designs and continuous improvement projects for assigned facilities systems.
- Support daily operations by applying engineering principles to resolve system and equipment operational issues.
- Coordinate with Facilities Operations technicians to develop equipment or system improvements and upgrades.
- Collect and analyze facilities system operational data to develop system performance improvement projects/solutions.
- Evaluate operational risk areas and propose solutions and projects to reduce risks and improve system/equipment uptime and robustness.
- Work with other Facilities team members to develop Preventative/Predictive maintenance programs and maintenance task details.
- Design and construct facilities maintenance projects and capital projects, including tool install projects.
- Develop and implement site sustainability projects aligned with Corporate Goals of water reduction, energy reduction, and GHG emissions reductions.
- Perform operations and engineering duties as assigned, including work overtime, off‑hours, holiday shutdowns, and weekends.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or control systems engineering principles applicable to semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
- Experience with electrical and power distribution systems, control systems, HVAC, chillers, boilers, bulk gases, water systems, wastewater treatment, and related equipment.
- Ability to work in an industrial plant/facilities environment with prescribed PPE and in a semiconductor clean room environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
AS in engineering field (electronics, mechanical, control systems, etc.) or a BS/MS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
