- Set up and operate production equipment following production priorities.
- Perform data entry and visual quality control.
- Collaborate with team to resolve quality and productivity challenges.
- Work in a Class‑10 clean room environment, wearing full‑body clean room protective clothing and personal protective equipment.
- Transfer silicon wafers from storage containers to Teflon, quartz, or metal cassettes using automated transfer tools.
- Monitor semiconductor equipment for correct processing indicators and alarms.
- Immerse wafer cassettes into chemical and water baths.
- Perform wafer measurements, calculations, and enter data into SPC systems; react to limit warnings and alarms.
- Complete documentation (online and written) as trained.
- Visually inspect wafers to detect defects and irregularities.
- Contribute to ongoing area improvement projects.
- Communicate effectively with co‑workers, leads, and supervisors.
- Follow all specified procedures: safety, cleanroom, chemical & wafer handling.
All duties are performed in a clean room requiring full jumpsuits, hood, safety glasses, surgical gloves, and mask. Makeup, hairspray, perfume, or cologne are not allowed.
Schedule and CompensationADI Camas operates 24/7. Night shifts only – compressed 12‑hour workweeks. All shifts require working either Saturday or Sunday.
- N1 shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Base + 12.9% wage differential).
- N2 shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Base + 19.4% wage differential).
Hiring bonus: $2,000 for N1 shift hires.
Entry‑level compensation is $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime is paid after 10 hours per shift.
Qualifications- Follow written procedures and verbal directions in English accurately.
- Walk/stand frequently throughout the 12‑hour shift; walk up/down stairs often.
- Lift above head with two hands and manipulate wafer boxes using fingers.
- Push and pull carts with loads up to 25 pounds.
- Recognize colors (red, green, blue, white) and flashing alarms; respond immediately to equipment alarms.
- Perform duties while wearing cleanroom garments (full‑body jumpsuit, safety glasses, nitrile gloves, face mask, hairnet, hood, cleanroom shoes).
- High school diploma, equivalent, or GED required.
For positions requiring technical data, export licensing approval may be required for applicants who are not US citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals.
