Assistant Management Accountant - study

Kenneth Brian Associates are delighted to be partnering with a successful and growing business in Camberley, who are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual looking to take ownership of a broad range of accounting duties while continuing to develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support with balance sheet reconciliations and journal postings
• Maintain accurate financial records including purchase ledger and sales ledger processing
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and analysis as required
• Manage bank reconciliations and cashflow monitoring
• Support year-end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
• Contribute to improvements in accounting processes and efficiencies

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant/Assistant Management Accountant
• Progressing towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficient MS Excel skills
• High level of accuracy, organisation, and problem-solving ability
• Confident communicator and team player
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, office-based environment
