One of the largest and most successful organisations in the North West is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join its finance team. This is a key role that will support the organisation both commercially and strategically, providing financial insight and partnering with senior stakeholders to drive business performance and growth. Salary: £50,000 - £52,000. Holidays. Pension. Opportunity to influence commercial decisions for a top 100 company.

The Role The Group Accountant will be responsible for:
Maintenance, review and audit of financial records and accounting systems. Financial forecasting and strategic planning. Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts. Oversight and completion of multiple sets of accounts. Inter-company, balance sheet, bank and supplier reconciliations. Management accounts and variance analysis. Preparation of statutory company accounts.

The Person The successful Group Accountant will meet the following criteria:
Qualified through ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience. Commercial experience preparing accounts. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Effective communication and analytical.
