VEHICLE TECHNICIAN

Location:

Camberley

Salary: £35,000 Basic Salary | OTE £45,000

Hours:

Monday to Wednesday, 8:15am - 5:15pm | Thursday to Friday, 8:15am - 5:00pm | 42 Hours Per Week

Saturday:
No Weekend Working

THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

  • Carrying out servicing and maintenance operations
  • Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults
  • Completing mechanical repairs and defined assembly operations
  • Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer and health & safety standards
  • Accurately documenting completed service and repair work
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work where required
  • Working closely with Service Advisors and other workshop colleagues
  • Providing excellent technical support and customer service
ABOUT YOU

We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
  • Strong mechanical and technical skills
  • Good diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Own tools and toolbox
  • MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a busy workshop team
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence (subject to licence checks)
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
