Location: Bagshot
We are looking for an exceptional Production Manager to join the team in Bagshot, Surrey.
Responsibilities- specifying, procuring and managing the delivery of all production and technical services for an event.
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to translate creative briefs into technically sound, deliverable solutions.
- Develop detailed production budgets and schedules, securing best value from suppliers through negotiation and industry knowledge.
- Perform site visits and provide technical assessments of venues.
- Understand an event's creative vision and goals.
- Plan and manage all on-site production elements including AV, staging, lighting, and logistics from set-up through to de-rig.
- Act as the key point of contact on-site for production, liaising with event managers, suppliers, venues, and clients.
- Own and resolve any issues, adapting plans where necessary to ensure seamless delivery.
- Build and maintain a trusted network of contractors and suppliers, managing contracts and terms to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Ensure all legal, regulatory, and health & safety standards are met and adhered to throughout the event lifecycle.
- Establish and continually refine production processes to ensure high standards across all events.
- Extensive experience managing large-scale, complex corporate events (eg. conferences, dinners).
- Strong knowledge of audio-visual solutions and technical production (able to show examples).
- In-depth understanding of health & safety regulations and on-site compliance.
- Financially astute with the ability to create and manage production budgets.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard business software.
- Skilled in negotiation, mediation, and supplier management.
- Experience using CAD software for technical layouts (you should know how to create CAD drawings, understand room configurations etc).
- Confident in presenting information clearly and persuasively to clients and colleagues.
- Proven hands‑on experience in a similar production role, ideally within an agency or fast‑paced events environment.
- Experience working on international events (preferred but not essential).
- Full UK driving licence required.
- Passport, you will be required to travel internationally between 5-10 times per year depending on events and their locations.
- High personal standards and a professional appearance.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Motivated, passionate, and solutions‑focused.
- Calm under pressure and able to work at pace.
- A team player who collaborates openly and respects others' views.
- Detail‑oriented and highly organised.
