We're recruiting for an Estimator to join a global leader in the aerospace industry. This is an opportunity to work on innovative aircraft modification programmes, turning customer requirements into technically sound, commercially viable engineering solutions.

Working within a collaborative engineering team, you'll support projects from initial concept through to project handover, partnering with engineering, commercial, procurement and programme teams to deliver world-class solutions.

What You'll Be Doing As the Appointed Estimator:
  • Develop engineering solutions for aircraft modification programmes.
  • Produce technical work statements, estimates, schedules and project plans.
  • Prepare costings, pricing models and risk assessments.
  • Create high-quality technical proposals for customer submission.
  • Support successful project handover into delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and best practice.
  • Occasionally travel within the UK and internationally to support projects.
The Ideal Experience For This Position Will Be:
  • Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Around 5+ years' experience within aerospace or aviation.
  • Experience supporting aircraft modifications or engineering programmes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of aerospace certification and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience producing engineering estimates or technical proposals.
