Job Summary andKey Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mortgage & Protection Advisor to join our growing and supportive brokerage. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to maximise earnings, develop their own client bank and benefit from a strong flow of quality leads, full administrative support, and access to a comprehensive lender and provider panel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert, compliance advice across residential, buy‑to‑let, remortgage and protection products, delivering a high standard of service throughout the full client journey. You will play a key role in building long‑term client relationships, supporting business growth and consistently delivering outstanding client outcomes.
Duties will include:- Building and managing a strong client bank to generate mortgage, protection and general insurance business, while identifying additional opportunities to grow revenue.
- Proactively maximising mortgage and protection sales through effective business development and new client acquisition.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with estate agency partners and internal teams to maximise lead flow and income generation.
- Working closely with dedicated administrative and case management support to ensure cases progress efficiently from application through to completion.
- Delivering a consistently high standard of client service to achieve the best possible customer outcomes.
- Effectively managing your pipeline to ensure timely completions and strong conversion rates.
- Utilising lead sources from the branch network, alongside self‑generated business, to build a sustainable client base.
- CeMAP qualified or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Mortgage & Protection Advisor
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding performance targets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted client relationships
- Strong relationship building skills with estate agency teams and internal stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of the mortgage and protection markets
- Commercially minded with a strong business development focus
- Self‑motivated, with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach
- Professional, flexible and client‑focused attitude
