As an Activities Coordinator with Cross Reach, you will plan and deliver meaningful activities that support the mental and physical wellbeing of the people we support. This part time role, working two days per week from 9am to 4pm, offers a great opportunity to use your skills in a rewarding and balanced way. You will play a key role in helping people stay engaged, stimulated and connected, with no two days the same.

What your role will involve Planning and delivering a varied programme of therapeutic and social activities Running group activities and providing one to one support where appropriate Organising outings and events in line with individual care plans Supporting wellbeing, dignity and inclusion for all service users Working closely with colleagues to ensure a safe, welcoming environment Contributing to the wider life of the service, including occasional evenings and weekends About you You are enthusiastic, creative and self motivated, with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a wider team.

You have a good understanding of what meaningful, therapeutic activity looks like for older people and enjoy helping others stay active, engaged and connected. You will have, or be willing to work towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Social Care and are comfortable using basic IT systems for training and record keeping. As this role is carried out in Christ’s name, you have a Christian faith and are committed to working within and upholding Cross Reach’s Christian ethos.
