The Role – Senior Manager As Senior Manager, you will combine client responsibility with a strong technical support focus. You will:
• Manage and grow a personal portfolio of complex client accounts
• Oversee corporation tax returns and high-level client work
• Act as a technical escalation point for the wider team
• Support colleagues with complex matters including consolidated accounts, FRS
102, UK subsidiaries of overseas entities, complex VAT returns, CT600s, business valuations and auditor liaison
• Review work to ensure technical accuracy, compliance and best practice
• Provide technical guidance and constructive feedback to improve quality across the team
• Support clients with business and personal tax planning where appropriate
• Drive efficiency and consistency through best practice and effective use of technology
• Contribute to strategic and technical planning to support growth and profitability Team & Technical Support Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day technical support to team members
• Assist with ad-hoc technical reviews and problem-solving
• Support the development of less experienced staff through mentoring and guidance
• Promote strong technical standards and knowledge-sharing across the team About You – Senior Manager
• ACA or ACCA or ICAS or equivalent qualified with full right to work in the UK
• Strong technical background within accountancy practice
• Experience supporting clients with complex accounting and tax matters
• Confident reviewing and advising on technical work
• Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
