Regional Manager - South East

Mitie | Integrated Facilities Management

At Mitie, we're looking for an experienced Regional Manager to join our Integrated Facilities Management team and take ownership of a diverse portfolio across the South East.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior FM professional who enjoys building strong client partnerships, leading high-performing teams, and driving operational and commercial excellence across multiple sites.

The role covers locations across Mid-Essex, parts of Surrey and Hampshire, and Mid-Kent, with occasional travel to our London office. When not visiting sites, you'll have the flexibility to work from the Mitie office closest to your home.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Reporting into the Account Director, you'll have full responsibility for the operational, financial, and commercial performance of your region, leading a team that delivers exceptional service to our client.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Taking full ownership of regional P&L performance and operational delivery.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and acting as the key point of contact across the region.
  • Leading and developing a team of managers, creating a culture focused on performance, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Driving service excellence, ensuring all contractual KPIs and service standards are consistently achieved.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies, enhance service delivery, and add value for the client.
  • Ensuring compliance, governance, contractor management and health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Working closely with internal Mitie teams to share best practice and deliver a truly integrated FM solution.
  • Supporting account growth through innovation, operational improvements and strategic thinking.

About You

We're keen to speak with experienced Facilities Management leaders who combine strong commercial awareness with a passion for people and client service.

You'll ideally bring:

  • A proven background within Facilities Management or a multi-service operational environment.
  • Experience managing large, multi-site contracts with full P&L responsibility.
  • A strong track record of building and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Knowledge of contract governance, KPI management, contractor management and compliance processes.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify efficiencies and growth opportunities.
  • Experience delivering change programmes, operational improvement initiatives and best practice methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills with the confidence to operate at a senior level.

An IWFM qualification, degree or equivalent professional qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
