Store and Materials Engineer

We’re working with a well-established engineering/manufacturing business based in Camberley who are looking for an experienced Stores / Materials professional to support production and operations on a contract basis.

This is a hands‑on role supporting stores, materials control, and assembly line operations in a fast‑paced environment.

• Receive and inspect materials against store contracts
• Verify quantities and condition of incoming goods
• Pick, stage, and supply parts to the production line to maintain continuous flow
• Source materials as required and manage stock of autoparts or similar components
• Monitor inventory levels and trigger replenishment
• Maintain accurate inventory and stores records
• Complete documentation for receipts, issues, and returns
• Support assembly and maintenance activities by supplying parts and materials
• Assist with purchasing requests and supplier coordination
• Provide operational cover and handover support when required

• Proven experience in stores, materials handling, or stock control
• Background in manufacturing, engineering, or production environments
• Strong organisational and inventory management skills
• Comfortable working on the shop floor and supporting assembly lines
• Confident with documentation and reporting
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
