Job OverviewAs part of our dedicated multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in supporting the recognition, assessment and management of patients who are acutely unwell or at risk of clinical deterioration. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will respond to medical emergencies across the hospital, helping to deliver timely interventions that improve patient safety and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical support for patients experiencing, or at risk of, clinical deterioration, life-threatening events, or cardiac arrest.
- Respond rapidly to medical emergencies, delivering timely assessment, intervention and ongoing management.
- Support the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, protocols and pathways relating to the deteriorating patient and resuscitation practice.
- Promote best practice in the recognition and management of deteriorating patients through education, support and collaboration with ward teams.
You will be a motivated and confident practitioner with:
- Significant experience caring for acutely unwell and deteriorating patients within an acute healthcare setting.
- Proven skills in managing medical emergencies and delivering high-quality resuscitation care.
- Sound clinical judgement and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
- Experience contributing to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, policies or quality improvement initiatives related to patient deterioration and emergency care.

Main duties of the jobThis is a clinically focused and educational role at Frimley Health.
The post holder will support the Band 7 in the day-to-day provision of the Critical care Outreach services across Frimley Health.
This is a clinically orientated role that will require the post holder to work weekends, evenings and night shifts as required for service delivery.
Working within the Rapid Response Team providing nursing intervention with appropriate assessment and management of the deteriorating patient and those at risk of deteriorating in Frimley Health.
