Longacres is looking for an enthusiastic person with a positive, can‑do attitude to oversee the daily operations of our Drive Thru/Click and Collect department. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the department, ensuring that stock is adequately stocked and the work area is kept neat and tidy to avoid any health and safety risks. You will work closely with both the Warehouse and Tills departments to ensure that the department meets the high retail standards detailed by the company.

Please note that this position involves constant manual handling tasks and is a physically demanding role.

Department: Click and Collect/ Drive Thru

Contract: Full time

Includes: 37.5 hours per a week

Oversee the daily collection of goods ordered through our online ordering system ensuring all orders have been correctly picked and are ready for customer collection.

Loading and assisting customers with various heavy goods into their vehicle.

Processing payments and refunds, including cash, card, voucher, and credit accounts.

Work alongside the rest of the drive thru team and greater Longacres teams to effectively handle customer queries.

G eneral housekeeping, ensuring a clean and safe sales forecourt with full product availability.

Additional tasks such as unpacking and pricing goods, product assembly and restocking.

Manual handling tasks (Heavy lifting, etc.)

Overseeing staff working in the department

Experience working in a fast‑paced retail environment

Happy to work in all weather conditions

Excellent organisation and housekeeping skills

Previous experience in a customer service position

Attention to detail and the ability to prioritise is essential
