As a Manager, Vision Care Inside Sales supporting the UK & Ireland team, you will be trusted to lead, coach and develop a team of Inside Sales Associates focused on strengthening commercial performance particularly within the Independent channel, while collaborating closely with Key internal stakeholders and partners. This role will be pivotal in defining how we engage with our independent customers - strengthening partnerships, elevating the value we deliver to their practices, and driving impact through close collaboration with our internal Independents Customer Partnership Team.

You will work onsite from our Camberley office.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Leading, coaching and developing a team of Inside Sales Associates
  • Executing Inside Sales plans across Independent and Key Account customers
  • Reviewing sales performance and providing insights to Sales Leadership
  • Planning and prioritizing customer outreach and service call activities
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Key Account teams on customer initiatives
  • Supporting the development of the Independent channel strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and commercial impact
  • Conducting weekly coaching sessions and performance development discussions
  • Ensuring consistent execution of Inside Sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Building strong customer relationships and addressing customer needs
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON
  • Relevant commercial background in Inside Sales or Sales
  • Experience working with customers in a commercial environment
  • Strong communication skills, coaching mindset and team collaboration
  • Optical / Vision Care industry experience (preferred)
  • People leadership exposure or readiness to step into leadership
