The Role Before Opening
  • Work with the pre-opening sales team to build local brand awareness, perform outreach in local community and generate sales prospects
  • Support social media and digital advertising activities
  • Develop partnerships with business in the local area
  • Support with membership enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face in line with the pre-opening strategy
  • Proactively pursue ideas to generate sales prospects to deliver a strong member base prior to opening
  • Close sales prospects during selling windows leading up to opening
  • Achieve and exceed personal and team targets for prospect generation and sales conversion
Post Opening
  • Continue to drive prospect generation and sales conversion, meeting your personal targets and supporting with the overall team target.
  • Engage with members to foster a welcoming culture and support the delivery of an exceptional member experience.
  • Selling memberships through face-to-face discussions, follow-up sales calls, and local lead generation
  • Perform daily checklist activities to maintain a spotless facility and ensure all equipment is maintained and meets health and safety requirements
  • Supporting local promotional activity, including social media, both on-site and in the Camberley community
  • Booking and managing appointments via phone, in person, email, and social media
  • Delivering gym tours and member inductions
  • Providing an excellent member experience throughout each customer’s fitness journey
  • Handling member enquiries and concerns with urgency, care, and professionalism
  • Maintaining accurate sales and member records within the CRM system
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Level 2 fitness qualification, or actively working towards it
  • A natural salesperson with a proven track record (fitness industry experience is desirable but not essential)
  • Charity fundraising candidates will be viewed positively
  • Friendly and engaging manner with strong lead-generation skills and willingness to be a team player
  • Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation on the gym floor
  • Passionate about helping people and promoting the benefits of health and wellbeing
