Learning Support Practitioner

Location: Camborne

Salary: £23,684.44 FTE (CC23), £14.11 per hour. Actual pro‑rata pay varies based on hours worked.

About the Role

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of our Additional Learning Support (ALS) provision for learners who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

The purpose of the role is to support individual or small groups of learners in the achievement of their learning goals and the development of independent life and employability skills. A Learning Support Practitioner may also support learners with communication, behavioural & emotional difficulties and social anxiety. Learning Support Practitioners will aim to work with learners to develop independent study skills and strategies to assist in their own learning.

Skills & Experience

Literacy and numeracy qualifications, or a willingness to work towards Level 2 are essential.

Hours
  • 3x (37 Hours/36 Weeks) – Term Time Monday to Friday – Salary: £23,684.44 FTE / CC23 / £12.31 per hour (actual pro‑rata salary £16,396.92 plus holiday pay £2,396.47, total pro‑rata salary £18,793.39, £14.11 per hour)
  • 1x (30 Hours/36 Weeks) – Term Time Tuesday to Friday – Salary: £23,684.44 FTE / CC23 / £12.31 per hour (actual pro‑rata salary £13,294.80 plus holiday pay £1,943.09 total pro‑rata salary £15,237.89, £14.11 per hour)
  • 1x (30 Hours/36 Weeks) – Term Time Monday to Thursday – Salary: £23,684.44 FTE / CC23 / £12.31 per hour (actual pro‑rata salary £13,294.80 plus holiday pay £1,943.09 total pro‑rata salary £15,237.89, £14.11 per hour)
  • 1x (22.5 Hours/36 Weeks) – Term Time Tuesday to Thursday – Salary: £23,684.44 FTE / CC23 / £12.31 per hour (actual pro‑rata salary £9,971.10 plus holiday pay £1,457.31 total pro‑rata salary £11,428.41, £14.11 per hour)
