12‑Month FTC | Redruth - Camborne and Redruth Community Hospital | NHS Property Services

At NHS Property Services, our people are our greatest asset. We're committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive. Our People Strategy - Get, Grow, and Keep Great People - focuses on building a values‑driven culture where colleagues and customers sit at the heart of everything we do.

We're now looking for an Estates Coordinator to join our team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract with a salary of £30,000 + 10% annual performance-based bonus. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of a portfolio of NHS properties, acting as the main point of contact for Trusts, building users, suppliers, and contractors.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people‑focused, operationally busy environment and enjoys problem‑solving, coordination, and keeping things running efficiently.

Who you are

You're an organised and proactive coordinator who takes ownership and enjoys working with a wide range of people. You're confident using digital tools (especially MS Teams) and are comfortable managing multiple tasks, engaging with contractors, and responding quickly to operational challenges.

You build trust easily, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering a professional and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day‑to‑day running of an allocated portfolio of NHS properties
  • Act as the first point of contact for Trusts, building users, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate contractors and suppliers, ensuring timely and effective completion of work
  • Respond to and resolve service issues, escalating where needed
  • Maintain accurate records and use digital tools confidently to track activities
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external partners
  • Support compliance, safety, and operational standards across your sites
  • Contribute to continuous improvement across the estates function
Where you'll be

This is a hybrid role with travel to sites within your allocated patch as required, plus occasional visits to regional offices. This is an onsight role and as such will require 5 days a week attendance.

What we can offer you

We understand how important life is outside of work so, as well as a competitive salary we will also offer:

  • 27 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday with the option to buy additional weeks leave.
  • Training and development opportunities, providing opportunities for our colleagues to develop and progress their careers at all levels through our Professional Excellence Framework.
  • SMART Pension contribution into which the company will contribute up to 6%
  • A range of flexible benefits, including NHS retail discounts and Cycle to Work Scheme.
  • We have a great Colleague Assistance Programme and offer support for all areas of life.
An organisation with a purpose…

We are an organisation with a passion for giving back. Putting money back into the NHS, raising £150,000 over 3 years for our charity partner Young Lives vs Cancer, supporting colleagues to volunteer within their local communities, and being committed to creating a sustainable working environment on our pledge to become net zero carbon by 2050. We understand that it's important to feel like the work you do is having a meaningful impact on society, and through our approach to being a responsible business, we make sure that every colleague is given the opportunity to make a difference.

At NHS Property Services, we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive. We welcome applications from disabled people and will make reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process and in the workplace to support your needs. If you require any support or adjustments, please let us know - we're here to help

We celebrate diversity, and we are working hard to create an inclusive environment where people love to work and can fulfil their potential.

We would encourage all applicants to apply as soon as possible as we may close vacancies early should we receive a high number of applications. Check out more about Life at NHSPS on our Linked In page!
