We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Female Support Worker with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our supported living service in Papworth Everard is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the community going out for walks or supporting them with arts and crafts.
Responsibilities- Teach new life skills to support independence
- Assist with personal care as required
- Encourage and facilitate access to local communities
- Socialise and organise activities, including walks and arts and crafts
- Support the planning and implementation of Positive Behaviour Support plans
- Full UK driving licence
- Resilient, flexible and composed approach
- Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
- Experience working with individuals with autism
7am‑2pm and 2pm‑9pm plus Sleep in. Join Voyage Care and Feel Valued, we reward your dedication with:
- Enhanced evening and weekend pay at an additional 50p per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
- Premium overtime rates at an additional £1 per hour (Ts & Cs apply)
Support Worker – £12.55 up to £14.05 with overtime and evening/weekend enhancements (Ts & Cs apply)
