As a Disability Confident Employer, we welcome applications from disabled candidates and guarantee an interview to those who meet the minimum job criteria.
We provide ongoing support and adjustments for those working with us that have a disability or long-term health condition and can help you obtain Access to Work funding to support you to do your job. You can ask us about reasonable adjustments you’ll need throughout the application and interview process too. We’d love you to have a positive experience with us, so please call or email
hr.adminis and we’ll happily discuss your needs.

What does this involve?- Supporting residents and managing tenancies – providing an accessible and responsive service, resolving queries and complaints, and ensuring residents receive the support and information they need.
- Promoting sustainable tenancies and communities – identifying risks early and taking proactive action to prevent tenancy failure, reduce arrears and voids, and address antisocial behaviour.
- Understanding and responding to individual needs – carrying out assessments, identifying support needs and aspirations, and working with internal teams and external agencies to help residents maintain their independence.
- Building strong partnerships and engaging residents – working collaboratively with residents, local authorities, support agencies and colleagues to encourage meaningful involvement and achieve positive outcomes.
- Managing performance and maintaining safe homes – monitoring properties and communal areas, maintaining accurate records, meeting agreed targets and budgets, and ensuring services are effective, compliant and provide value for money.
- An experienced housing professional – with strong social housing experience and a good understanding of affordable housing, tenancy management, housing legislation, welfare reform and the needs of disabled customers.
- A confident and customer‑focused communicator – able to build positive relationships with diverse customers, remain calm in challenging situations, communicate effectively and use influencing, negotiation and problem‑solving skills to achieve positive outcomes.
- An organised and proactive team player – able to manage workloads, make sound decisions, work independently and collaboratively, achieve targets and deliver consistently high standards of customer service using strong IT and administrative skills.
- A values‑led and inclusive person – someone who shares Papworth Trust’s values, acts with integrity and accountability, and is passionate about equality, diversity, inclusion and creating positive change for disabled people.
