Full-Time | Permanent Position | £14.00 per Hour

About the Role as a Forklift Warehouse Operative:
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch. You will also support goods-in operations, stock control activities, and general warehouse organisation to help maintain smooth and efficient operations.
PM Shift
 
* 3:30pm – 12:00am
 
* 5 shifts per week
 
* Working across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
 
* Saturdays typically off

Key Responsibilities ;
 
* Accurately pick and pack customer orders to meet daily targets and service levels.
 
* Prepare orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labelling.
 
* Load and unload deliveries safely using warehouse equipment and FLT where qualified.
 
* Check incoming goods for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies.
 
* Maintain effective stock rotation and ensure products are stored correctly.
 
* Complete warehouse paperwork and stock records accurately.
 
* Assist with stock counts and inventory management processes.
 
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
 
* Report any equipment issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly.
What We're Looking For in a Forklift Warehouse Operative;
 
* Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential).
 
* Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
 
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
 
* Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to work.
 
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
 
* Reliable, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
