Forklift Warehouse Operative
Full-Time | Permanent Position | £14.00 per Hour

About the Role as a Forklift Warehouse OperativeAs a Warehouse Operative, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch. You will also support goods-in operations, stock control activities, and general warehouse organisation to help maintain smooth and efficient operations.
PM Shift- 3:30pm - 12:00am
- 5 shifts per week
- Working across Monday to Sunday on a rota basis
- Saturdays typically off
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders to meet daily targets and service levels.
- Prepare orders for dispatch, including pallet wrapping and labelling.
- Load and unload deliveries safely using warehouse equipment and FLT where qualified.
- Check incoming goods for quality and accuracy, reporting any discrepancies.
- Maintain effective stock rotation and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Complete warehouse paperwork and stock records accurately.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory management processes.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Report any equipment issues, damages, or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence (essential).
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive hourly rate of £14.00 per hour
