This term position focuses on delivering high-quality education and mentoring adult learners for social service careers. With a strong emphasis on Inuit values and cross-cultural experiences, you will engage in curriculum development and practicum coordination. This role ensures students acquire essential competencies for effective community support in Nunavut.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver and evaluate program courses effectively
• Develop engaging curriculum and learning materials
• Support and mentor student learning and success
• Coordinate practicum placements and oversee student experiences
• Contribute to program development and student recruitment
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in social work with three years of experience
• One year of teaching experience at a post-secondary level
• Proven experience in cross-cultural education settings
• Membership eligibility in relevant Social Work associations
• Fluency in Inuktut, English, or French preferred
Contribute to social service excellence and cultural responsiveness at Nunavut Arctic College in Cambridge Bay.
