Job Title
Receptionist – Payable/Receivable Accounts (Cambridge, Ontario, Canada)
Role Overview
You will work closely with the Pride Bodies Controller within the Wayside Group s role may span multiple career levels and involves supporting the finance team by processing vendor invoices and issuing payments, managing daily banking and credit card payments, answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and maintaining general office duties.
Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Match, code, and obtain proper authorization for payment of invoices.
Process weekly cheque runs.
Monitor vendor accounts to ensure no outstanding issues and that payments are up to date.
Process daily bank deposits and credit card payments.
Monitor Accounts Receivable Subledger to ensure customer accounts are up to date.
Contact customers to request payments and resolve any issues.
Open and distribute mail.
Answer and direct incoming calls, greet and assist all visitors.
Maintain general office upkeep.
Perform other general and finance duties as assigned.
Physical Demands
Long periods of sitting and computer use.
Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Experience with ERP systems.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Reliable team player.
Ability to plan and organize workload with minimal supervision.

Salary
The annual salary rate for this role is $47,600 to $63,000. The exact offer may be influenced by training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands, and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
