Position: Financial Analyst for Nuclear Projects
Contribute to Aecon’s nuclear construction efforts as a Project Accountant responsible for financial management and reporting. This role focuses on detailed project costing and enhancing financial accuracy in a proactive team setting.
As a Project Accountant at Aecon, you'll work under the Project Finance Manager, ensuring efficient tracking and reporting of project costs. Your analytical skills will aid in preparing monthly financial statements and liaising with key stakeholders, all while supporting audits and aligning with compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate client billing entries

• Generate monthly progress invoices for clients

• Aid in managing contract billing and change orders

• Participate in cost reporting and project forecasting

• Assist in month-end financial close processes
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, or Accounting

• 3+ years of relevant experience, CPA an asset

• Knowledge in SAP and Business Objects preferred

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong prioritization skills in a busy environment
