Junior Accountant Position

This full-time permanent role reports to the Controller and is a chance for an accounting professional with one to two years of experience. Duties include daily bank reconciliations, sales tax compliance, and inventory valuation. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with SAP are essential for ensuring accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily bank reconciliations and match revenue transactions

• Prepare and file provincial sales tax returns accurately

• Support month-end close with journal entries and reconciliations

• Conduct periodic inventory valuations and maintain SKU pricing

• Code invoices and assist with auditing processes

Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance

• 1-2 years of accounting experience

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Exposure to sales tax compliance

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
